FxFactory 2.0.3
FxFactory 2.0.3

This version brings four new plug-ins to
existing FxFactory Pro customers: the
"Soften Frame" filter in the "NI Blur" category, the
"Emboss" and "Emboss Text" filters in the "NI
Stylize" category and the "Frame Info" filter in the
new "NI Video" category.
New in this version is a Network Browser that lets you easily identify licensing conflicts on your network, and miscellaneous other bug fixes and improvements that affect all FxFactory plug-ins.
Frame Info
The first filter to appear under the "NI Video" category lets you display information on the current frame, field (or fields) being previewed or rendered. Regardless of your current Sequence Settings, the dynamic nature of Final Cut Pro's previewing environment often makes it hard to understand exactly what's being previewed. On systems without an external monitor, the Frame Info plug-in lets you know exactly what's being previewed by displaying pixel format and color component size (e.g. "RGB 8bit", "YUV 32bit") and visual indicators of field dominance and frame type (Interlaced vs Progressive):
Soften Frame
This new filter under the "NI Blur" category lets you soften the frame by fading out the source image towards the edges. The softening process introduces non-opaque pixels into the frame, allowing you to composite the source more smoothly over its background. The filter works just as well with titles, allowing you to make edges of a title see-through for a smoother look:
Network Browser
The Network Browser window lets you view information on other computers running FxFactory plug-ins on the local network, to help you diagnose potential licensing conflicts when the same registration codes are in use on multiple systems simultaneously:
The FxFactory application and plug-ins will now do a better job of reporting licensing conflicts, notifying you when potential problems are found. The Network Browser is accessible from the FxFactory application's Windows menu, and from a new button inside the plug-in management window that becomes visible only if other computers on the network are found.

Emboss and Emboss Text
New under the "NI Stylize" category are two variants
of the Emboss filter, one meant for video and stills,
the other meant for titles and media with non-uniform
alpha coverage. Emboss lets you create a 3D looking
rendition of any source, and lets you specify up to 3
light sources at different locations:
